The Step-by-Step Lip Neutralization Process:
Consultation & Assessment: We will evaluate the lip’s undertones (blue, purple, or brown) to select the correct neutralizing, warm-based pigment.

Session 1 - Neutralization: We then deposit warm pigment (orange/peach) to counteract the dark, cool tones.
Immediately after, the lips may appear bright orange or red.

Healing Phase (6-10 Weeks): Lips will peel and the color will fade by 30-60%. The lips may appear darker, brownish, or even patchy during the first 2-3 weeks before brightening.

Initially, our client came in for a removal of her exisitng lip blush by an another artist two years ago. She was dissatisfied with the color and outline shape.

She asked if we could redo her Lip Blushing after the removal service. As a professional and artist, it was important to understand her desired lip color and desired shape. She agreed that she wanted a more nude pink instead of the bright pink lip hue she received. We could achieve this through bypassing the removal service and going straight into neutralizing and toning the exisitng bright pink ink with @evenflocolours Illume and Malina. This gave her a natural pink with a warm undertone. They are now the perfect color, with fullness, shape and symmetry. She will need one more session and we are excited to see her healed results!
